All Morwell Swimming Club swimmers need to pay both Club and State membership fees, as well as pool entry fees.
The Club and State membership season runs from 1st July till 30th June the following year. All members are required to complete a club membership form (PDF) and advise the club as soon as practicable if any of their details change.
Morwell Swimming Club Membership Fees
Club fees cover the cost of club coaching services. These should be paid directly into our club bank account and can be paid in instalments (see table below). Commencing 1st July 2024, the first instalment for all members will be $120. This amount is non-refundable.
The treasurer will send an invoice after your membership form is received (new members), or at the start of each season (existing members), and will notify you when instalments are due. Swimming Victoria (State) Membership Fees
All swimmers, coaches and committee members must register for Swimming Victoria membership each year in order to be covered by insurance for training and participation in competitions. Swimming Victoria Memberships also commence on 1st July each year and expire on 30th June the following year. This cost is not covered by the club fees. Swimming Victoria fees must be paid within two weeks of your child joining our club, or within a new season commencing, otherwise your child will not be able to train, as they are not appropriately insured.
The following Swimming Victoria fees apply for the 2024-2025 season:
• Competitor: (9 years and over) $155.38
• Dry Member (Parents/Committee Members/Officials): $15.46
Swimming Victoria fees must be paid direct to Swimming Victoria by registering here on Swim Central. Family discounts sometimes apply. Swim Central membership fees are non-refundable.
Each family needs to have one guardian over 18 years of age registered to create the account in Swim Central. This guardian will need to pay for a Dry Member Fee.
The username and password you set when you register will be required to log in for any swimming competitions you wish to enter.
If you have any questions about fees, please see a committee member on pool deck. More information on how to set up a new Swimming Victoria account in Swim Central can be found here.
Pool Entry Fees
Pool entry fees are charged at all Latrobe Leisure Facilities. These fees are separate to Club and State fees. Swimmers can choose to either pay each time they visit the pool or receive a discount if they purchase a 10 visit pass. These prices are subject to change each financial year. The fees below are current until 30th June 2025. You can find the updated prices for the 2024-2025 financial year at the Latrobe Leisure Website on 1st July.
